RBNZ to regulate and supervise the High Value Clearing System
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua will now regulate and supervise the High Value Clearing System, under the Financial Market Infrastructures Act 2021. This follows the Minister of Finance’s decision to designate the system on the Reserve Bank’s recommendation.
