Cebu Pacific sees ‘encouraging’ August as traffic rises 2%

MANILA, Philippines — Budget carrier Cebu Pacific flew more than 2.1 million passengers in August, up 1.9 percent from a year earlier, as resilient domestic travel helped offset weaker international traffic ahead of the peak holiday season. On Tuesday, the Gokongwei-led airline said in a disclosure that domestic traffic remained the main growth driver in August,
